PLAYBOY’S FORMER FIRST LADY LAUNCHES FIRST INTELLIGENT ADULT SEARCH ENGINE  PROTECTS CHILDREN, CONSUMERS AND CELEBRITIES

(LOS ANGELES, CA) Internet pioneer Carrie Leigh has announced today the launch of SexSpyder, an adult search engine that helps protects minors and consumers from indecent material, and credit card fraud. The index also seeks to protect celebrities and models from unauthorized use of their name, likeness or image.

Carrie Leigh, the former First Lady of the Playboy Mansion sees this as a giant step forward in the currently unregulated billion-dollar adult internet industry.

"The concept for Sexspyder originated from my own frustration in protecting my own rights, Carrie says, "My attorneys discovered that neither the FBI, FCC, LAPD or the FTC had the authority to regulate the misuse of anyone’s name, likeness or image on the internet. I further discovered there are no existing search engines designed to protect chidren and consumers."

The Sexspyder search engine features pre-screened adult websites in a Yahoo-style user-searchable database. SexSpyder marks the first truly intuitive adult search engine that serves the consumer and includes child-protection software for use by parents who wish to use it.

"We are contributing toward the formation of a truly self-policing industry, free from governmental legislation," states Mark Curran, web designer of the search engine.

"There are over 70,000 adult sites and, under our guidelines, less than 10% of them are legitimate, Sexspyder is a significant gain for free speech, child protection, and toward a more responsible adult industry,." Leigh concludes.
